Funny Friday: Seven Giggles to End Your Week
I don't know about you, but I've had a long-ass week. Lots of socializing and general debauchery. It's been fun, but I'm ready for the weekend. I found a few things on the wonderful internet that made me giggle, so I thought I'd share with all you lovely people.
African food yummy is one of my favorite people to follow on Instagram. She's always posting something delicious and shows off quite a bit of African cuisine from the entire continent. Plus she drops pics like this one. I literally cackled. Like a witch. No shame.
Remember when they discovered Dragon Man? Yeah, well, someone took the jokes to a whole new level with this one. Not gonna lie, I wish I could have that rabbit body. But these workouts are murder.
All I can say about this one is that it's so real. Seriously, tell your favorite writers that you love them and their work. Speaking from experience, it's why we do what we do.
I found this gem while I was buying my toothpaste. Yes, this was the honest-to-goodness literal picture that was on the Amazon listing. Notice too that this is coming directly from their store. I guess after being trapped inside for almost two years, we're all trying to cut down on calories. I don't think this will work, though.
But really though! The whole thing??! Ridiculousness. I agree with Ms. Ashley Ford here. I'm gonna need my body to take some kind of responsibility for itself because I clearly cannot be trusted.
I honestly feel like when people meet me in person I make a complete bafoon of myself. When I have time to read what I'm trying to say, I can take out the "likes" and "uhms" and general disorganization of my stream of consciousness. In-person, though? Yeah, thingy is about the best you're gonna get. Maybe a whatchamacallit if I'm feeling super literate.
The final giggle for your Funny Friday is yet another truth in the form of hilarity. Buying books and reading them are two different hobbies, let's be honest. I felt the same way about yarn when I crocheted often. There's a certain one-ness that comes with shopping for books. Reading them... I'll get to them eventually, right?
I hope you got a chuckle or two from this post. Share with a friend who needs to smile today! i sincerely hope that you have an amazing weekend. I'm dropping part one of my blog exclusive short story this Sunday! So don't forget to come back for a quick read!
